On October 18th, 2019, Archivist Jonathan Sims accidentally ended the world.
On October 25th, 2019, he beat his boss to death with a pipe. The world was saved.
Roughly five years later, a lot has changed.

Timeline

October 18, 2019
The world ends, as heard in MAG 160.

October 25th, 2019
Jonathan Sims kills Elias Bouchard with a metal pipe. The apocalypse subsides.

November 2019
The world as a whole begins to recover from a week of strange, violent mass hysteria. Most governments blame a perfect storm of natural disasters, social and political unrest, and fearmongering.

Death tolls are high. Strange incidents are more common. The world hasn't ended, but it sure as hell is terrified.

Almost nobody is left untouched.

In the following 5-ish years...
Jonathan Sims takes his places as the new head of the Magnus Institute.

Gerard Keay is resurrected and bound to the Beholding as the next Archivist. Without his patron, he will die.

Martin Blackwood becomes captain of the Nightingale, filling his adoptive father's shoes as an Avatar of the Lonely.

Alice "Daisy" Tonner, now an Avatar of the Hunt, steps in as a protector of the Magnus Institute.

Basira Hussain becomes an Avatar of the Dark.

About The AU

Fauxcault is a group of Twitter TMA roleplayers connected by a shared universe, which mostly follows canon up through the end of MAG 160.

What does that mean?
Joining the Fauxcault AU officially means that you are part of the network of accounts that are creating a collaborative plot.

Do I have to join?
You do not need to join us to RP with us, or take inspiration from this AU! We are not here to gatekeep. In fact, we encourage you to go for it!

Not joining means you won't have to follow our collaborative plot, allowing you to play in a universe of your own where you have complete control. Choose whatever is right for you!

Are there rules?
You must be 18+ to join the official Fauxcault AU group.
We are not currently allowing multiple of the same character.
Both OCs and canon characters are welcome.
